Pedometer Challenge success! As part of January's Healthy College Campaign 500 pedometers were distributed across the Cornwall College Campuses. With one aim... to work together to reach 5 million steps. Students and staff smashed this target with a massive 6,459,541 steps! This equates to walking from Land's End to John O'Groats 3.7 times.
To all those that stepped up - you were part of something bigger than the sum of your steps! The challenge raised people's awareness of how many or few steps they do - and encouraged some to start their walking day further away from College to rack up more steps.
All students that returned their step count were entered in to a prize draw to win a bike to the value of £200, kindly financed by the CCSU. The President, Joe Vinson, drew the winning name.... and the winner was Claire Ingram from Saltash Campus! Well done Claire!

Every step and person counts! Top effort - woohoo!
